The chief technology officer Bill Baxter of Vizio said that “We are excited to bring Disney Plus onto the SmartCast platform to give viewers access to even more content to enjoy,” in a press release about the integration.
Unfortunately, Vizio TV is a bit late to the race, Disney + has locked down its services with most of the major streaming platforms by the last November. It’s currently available as a native app in various platforms like Android TV, Apple TV, LG Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TVs, Samsung Smart TVs and Roku devices as well.

Disney + offers two subscription packages. It has a free trial for the first seven days.
- The monthly pack costs $6.99.
- The yearly pack costs $69.99. This means $5.38 per month.
How To Watch Disney Plus On Vizio Smart TV
Vizio TV is of two types. Vizio SmartCast TVs and Vizio Internet Apps (VIA) TVs. In SmartCast TVs, you can install any additional apps while in VIA TVs, Google Play Store comes pre-installed in it. You can install the Play Store to install additional apps from its library.
How to download and install Disney + on Vizio Internet Apps TV?
- Firstly, press the V button on the TV remote to open the app store.
- Now, look for the Disney + app. Use the directional keys to navigate between the apps on the screen.

- Click on OK button to install the app on your VIA TV.
- Once the app is installed, it will available on the My Apps Tab. Open the app from there.
